We have been absolutely overwhelmed by the messages of appreciation and support we have received following the publication of the new electronic form of G&LH.

A great big and very sincere Thank You to every one of you. We have listed a selection from our postbag below.

Congratulations for your magazine [which] is great. Please be sure that we, the Iranian queer community are beside you for fighting for our rights and keep up with your great work.

– Arsham Parsi,
IRanian Queer Railroad

Great to see you’re back. This beats any other resurrection (Lazarus? Eat your heart out!) about which you may have read in the Bible – which of course, sensible atheists read from time to time so that they can stop believers in their tracks with apposite quotations. What with this and the emblazoned bendy buses all over London, I begin to think we may be getting somewhere – and the other indication is the growth of religious fundamentalism. It shows the religionists are running scared!

Here’s to happy godless future where people matter more than popes and their like. Every power to your elbows!

– Claire Rayner

As one who helped launch the Gay and Lesbian Humanist, then witnessed with enormous pride its development over the years, I am delighted that the magazine has resurfaced in electronic format.

I always believed that the magazine could play an important part in getting the message across that, not only was it good to be gay, it was even better to be a gay person free from the dreadfully debilitating and hugely harmful influences of religious belief.

I like to think that the magazine – with its top-notch reportage and in-depth coverage of important and often controversial issues – provided its readers with a vital and unique stepping-stone from the tyranny of religious dogma to the freedom of a guilt-free, rational lifestyle.

Welcome back!

– Barry Duke
editor,
Freethinker

[G&LH is back!] . . . and beautiful – clean, handsome layout.

There is a great need for standard-bearers such as Gay & Lesbian Humanist: long may it flourish in its new medium.

– Antony Grey

. . . the old magazine, with the decent editors, who know how to recognize and handle a story are in charge . . .

– Chris Redmond

Congratulations on the re-launch – at last we have a gay humanist magazine that pulls no punches and is fearless in the exposing of bunk from all sources, religious or political.

I will certainly publicise the magazine and blog as far as I am able and look forward to submitting material for consideration.

– Diesel Balaam
