Westminster or Oslo? When it comes to
Dean believes thereís no contest!
really excited these last few weeks, ready
to make my choice on who to vote for in the
upcoming contest. No, not the UK
general election, silly. Norwayís Eurovision
Song Contest, of course!
knows Eurovision is all about politics:
national, international, EastĖWest
diplomacy, human rights Ė you name it.
yearís going to be really tough.

or Milan Stanković?
Josh, Harel or Milan Ö howís a boy to
elections, on the other hand, are so
boring, and voters so predictable.
You know the sort of thing:
Labour. My father voted Labour, his
father and his fatherís father.
always voted Liberal, always will.
been in too long. Time to give the
others a go.
family are Tories through and through.
matter what happens. Doesnít matter how many
scandals there are, how many times an MP is
caught fiddling expenses. Doesnít make any
difference when, time and again, political
parties and governments of all colours fail
us Ö We still go on voting for the bastards!
Donít get me
wrong; Iím no angel, but it could make me
weep. ďWhatever you do, donít think!Ē As
with those Weeping Angels in Doctor Who,
itís when youíre not looking that the
monsters do their worst.

Ė Iíd vote for them both!
that everyone should pass a test before
being allowed to vote. Apparently, Iíd fail
because Iím incapable of weighing up the
Iím all for issues, me Ö just a bit
particular about whoís issuing them!
And Iím a
big fan of gay rights. Specifically, my
right to gay men.
Not that Iím
a bigot. Iíll vote for anyone, gay or
straight. However, why would I vote for
someone I wouldnít shag.
that does limit candidates a bit, and rules
out virtually every party leader, with the
possible exception of Nick Clegg, of course.
Nick Clegg Ė Iíd vote for him Ö and
all his mates, too!
It has to be
said that thereís plenty of eye candy among
Labour and Lib Dem candidates this year, but
itís a real struggle to find a dishy Tory.
Itís a pity we canít vote for some of their
Vote Conservative? No.
Vote Conservative voter? Yes!
On balance, itís
probably best to give Westminster a miss and
save your energy for Oslo!
